A letter from Laurence L. Doggett to John W. Jefferson dated December 3, 1917. This letter from Doggett is in response to a previous letter from Jefferson. In this letter Doggett wishes Jefferson good luck as well as updating him on how the college has been doing.

John William Jefferson graduated in the class of 1917. After graduating he joined the service and worked with the Y.M.C.A. during WWI in Egypt, Syria, and Palestine. When the war ended he worked as a National Physical Director for Malay States, Singapore, and Straits Settlements until 1940. He would die the next year (1941) in Perlis, Malaya.
