Most drawings are dated and signed by Merton S. Barrows, Amelia Brooks Valtz, or Nathaniel Perry Tufts. Plot plan was made by Civil Engineer Everett M. Brooks (Newtonville, Massachusetts). Drawings depict a two-story Cape Cod-style house with two front dormers, an asbestos shingle roof, and a clapboard and flush board exterior.
