Holocaust survivor Klara Barker discusses her experiences during the Holocaust as part of the Philip N. Backstrom Survivor Lecture Series held during Northeastern University's annual Holocaust Awareness Week. Barker, originally from Debrecen, Hungary, was deported to Auschwitz along with her family and did forced labor with other women. She speaks about how she helped keep her sister alive throughout their imprisonment, and details their liberation from Bergen-Belsen (where they were sent after the Auschwitz death march) at the end of the war.
