Description:
This was an interview, conducted by Channel 5 news, a year after the Boston Marathon attack. Featured are injured survivor, Lynn Crisci, who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury, back injury, hearing loss and PTSD as a result of the attack. This was filmed during a hearing to appeal to the One Fund to compensate survivors internal injuries in the 2nd dispersement. The 1st dispersement compensated ONLY those who were hospitalized and/or those who suffered external injuries, giving them $125,000, $250,000, $500,000, $1,000,000 or more. Survivors who were treated as "out patients," even those who saw doctors every day for YEARS, were given only $8,000. (The 2nd one ended up doing almost exactly the same thing.) Lynn's LIFETIME medical treatments for her marathon attack injuries (TBI, hearing loss, PTSD, chronic sciatica pain), such as TMS, HBOT and hearing aids every 3-5 years, are NOT covered by any insurance, and will cost up to $700,000.
