Letter from Joseph Langland to Judith G. Wood Langland
Description:
Has been receiving her mail regularly. Glad Judy is now set up in nursing. No finds it hard to accept the idealism had in high school: "There may be a little too much realism in me now -- particularly since Army -- to look with full-throated enthusiasm upon prospects... would like to spend most of my life changing this through education, politics and literature. And intend to." Glad to see Ernie Pyle's writing and that he won the Pulitzer.
