Letter from Benjamin Smith Lyman to Tokumatsu Nakajima
Description:
Lyman transcribes a report of Toku's second term grades and attendance at university. He berates Toku for his unexcused absences, and hopes that a consequence of decreased pocket money will deter Toku from such behavior in the future. Lyman reminds Toku that he is covering the cost of his education to benefit Toku, but with the expectation of future reimbursement.
