Letter from Ronald Wayne Schrum to Carolyn Ann Garrett
Description:
Letter includes a poem by Schrum titled "Our Lord," in which he tells God about daily life in Vietnam, the weather, their duties, and their motivations, and wonders how killing in a war is supposed to bring peace. Ronald writes, "I've hearded these words thou shall not kill so many time's in life. What do we do Lord? How can we put a stop to the blood war and come home to our loved one's?"
