Swampscott's Revolutionary War memorial, also known as the Ramsdell Memorial "... is a boulder and bronze plaque in memory of the first soldier to die at the Battle of Lexington. Abednego Ramsdell was from that part of Lynn which became Swampscott and the Memorial is near the site of his home.
