The prints DR 289 to 298 are referring to the attempted murder by Fieschi against King Louis-Philippe. The person shown here is Tell Bescher, one of the four organizers of the assassination attempt against Louis-Philippe. BESCHER, Tell (1794 - ?) was a bookbinder and accomplice at the coup d’état against Fieschi of July 28, 1835. He was the only participant to be tried and acquitted by the Court on Feb. 14, 1836.
