McCormack recaps how he and an associate were on their way to the airport when a taxicab they were in caught fire. They thought they were going to miss their airplane, but John R. Bunn, a Delta employee, saw what was happening and offered them a ride to the airport. McCormack explains that during their conversation, Bunn noted he worked as part of the ground staff, but was hopeful to get a position in sales for Delta. McCormack writes to recommend that this switch be made.
