Memorandum from Mark H. McCormack to A. F. Mulberry
Description:
McCormack sends a memorandum to Mulberry about John Letters Stainless Steel Clubs. He states that when he was with Rex Evans in South Africa last week, Evans indicated that he was very unhappy with the Campbell clubs and was probably going to discontinue the relationship. Evans hopes to make a relationship with H & B and has been in touch with them. Evans would also like to work something out with John Letters to make a line of Gary Player stainless steel clubs for South African distribution. McCormack notes that he would appreciate it if Mulberry could communicate with John Letters to see if this would be possible, what the price f.o.b. England would be, what kind of a line it would be, and the like. McCormack states that he thinks they could get some "brownie points" with John Letters and also make some money for Rex Evans and Gary Player.
