Memorandum from Mark H. McCormack to William H. Carpenter
Description:
McCormack sends a memorandum to William H. Carpenter regarding Jean-Claude Killy Insurance. He notes that Chevrolet is having Killy examined by doctors with reference to an insurance policy they are taking out on his life. McCormack would like Carpenter to communicate with Gerry Millar of Campbell-Ewald Advertising, as Chevrolet is willing to turn over the examination to them so they could take out a policy. He explains that Red McCarthy sent a complex form to Killy to fill out which McCormack finds unnecessary since General Motors has instructed him that he is not allowed to drive racecars while employed by them. He notes that this information is confidential since GM does not want a lot of publicity about the fact that they are preventing Killy from racing.
