Concerning the British Open and U. S. Open film rights. McCormack sets forth the economics of Pontiac becoming involved in film ownership of two film rights. The USGA will sell half sponsorship of its U. S. Open film for a rights fee of $25,000 and the commitment to purchase 100 prints at $250 a print. Each film would be approximately 45 minutes in duration and are available for showing on U. S. television. The British Open arrangements would be a rights fee of $25,000.
