Description:
From a set of two boxes of lantern slides by Dr. Robert Battey Greenough, covering his service in 1915 with the First Harvard Unit and the American Ambulance in France during World War I. Lantern slide taken in France during World War I, showing a pair of photographs of the same patient in profile. On the patient's left side is a large puckered scar on his cheek and a surgical scar behind his ear. His right side appears uninjured.
