From a set of two boxes of lantern slides by Dr. Robert Battey Greenough, covering his service in 1915 with the First Harvard Unit and the American Ambulance in France during World War I. Lantern slide taken in France during World War I, showing a patient with scars to his cheeks below his nose and to his upper lip. Same patient as 21245.069, with skin graft to give him a better upper lip.
