From a set of two boxes of lantern slides by Dr. Robert Battey Greenough, covering his service in 1915 with the First Harvard Unit and the American Ambulance in France during World War I. Lantern slide taken in France during World War I, showing a leg in cast with metal supports that add stability while maintaining an open section to allow for access to wounds on the calf.
