McCormack provides his reaction to the article in the April edition of "The Golf Journal." While McCormack agrees that it isn't a good idea if every state and association made its own rules, one out to be able to tap down spike marks as one is able to fix ball marks. McCormack feels Hannigan's editorial misses the point and asks why a spike mark shouldn't be repaired.
