Submission text: Self Friend You okay? Bombing at Marathon. Yeah I'm at home We get the day off Omg just read the news :( Friend I was watching the marathon from home earlier in the day, near the beginning of the marathon. I had to get ready for an upcoming trip, so I stopped by to watch for about a half hour or so, but then went back home. I went about my day getting ready and getting things together and packing. Later in the afternoon, I found out about the marathon bombing from this text message. I had just gotten out of the shower a few minuted beforehand, and had checked my phone. This message is from a friend who takes the same train as me in the morning, and he didn't know if I was at work that day or not.
