Lyman notifies Mr. Lesley that he has finally received the funds sent to Lynchburg, and questions the distribution of paper currency, rather than gold, is spite of Mr. Lesley's assurance that the paper currency is worth five percent more. The letter is written on Dunn's Hotel stationery.
