McCormack enjoyed meeting with Hardin at the Turnberry during the British Open. McCormack understand how much Hardin and everyone at the USGA cherish and want to protect the Masters, but explains a lot of people are using the name in a lot of different ways in different sports. McCormack suggests developing a program to clean up and protect wrongful trademark uses and unauthorizes associations involving the Masters name, as well as developing a high quality merchandising program.
