Letter from Benjamin Smith Lyman to John R. Neison
Description:
Lyman expresses concern that Neison's wife is not well and hopes that the operation will be satisfactory. He notes that there are several hospitals in the Philadelphia area, including a small hospital for women, and offers to be Neison's guide upon arrival should he be unfamiliar with the city. Lyman informs Neison that Mr. Kelly is considering the Shippen and Wetherill mine tract.
