Memorandum from Mark H. McCormack to A. F. Mulberry
Description:
McCormack asks A. F. Mulberry to advise Peter that he strongly recommends against qualifying for the U. S. Open on the tour, as many of their clients have been most successful in off-tour qualifying. He mentions Bob Charles as an example of this. McCormack recommends that Peter qualify in Cleveland at the Country Club and that he qualify regionally in Pittsburgh.
