Description:
Vincenzina Vanzetti, Bartolomeo's sister, did whatever she could for her brother while residing in Italy. Thomas F. O'Connor first became involved in the case of Sacco and Vanzetti, participating in the campaigns for their innocence waged by the Citizens National Committee for Sacco and Vanzetti based in Boston and the National League for Sacco and Vanzetti which operated out of New York. Tom O'Connor continued his efforts to keep the memory of the pair alive for the rest of his life. In this handwritten letter from Vincenzina, she expresses her gratifude to O'Connor and all the work the committee has done. She further mentions that Lefevre Brini is helping in locating Signor Boda. At the end of the letter, she thanks O'Connor for providing an update and account of activies for the National Sacco-Vanzetti League. This letter and others found in the collection offer scholars an insight into the efforts taken by prominent figures and everyday citizens for justice for Sacco and Vanzetti.
