Letter from Mark H. McCormack to William B. Boscow
Description:
McCormack responds to William B. Boscow's letter of April 5 regarding the idea for a one-day golf promotion, though he identifies the amount of money that Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, and Jack Nicklaus receive for these exhibitions causes problems with the economics of his suggestion. McCormack notes that if they can do this with golfers such as Dave Marr and Bob Rosburg, the arrangement might work. He indicates that he will have people look into this and get back to Boscow with a more definitive reaction.
