Concerning Keating's corporate responsibility and position. Keating begins the memo with his personal history and current function while referencing the recent edition of the Operations Manual. He voices his overall frustration with his current position and the lack of communication throughout the organization. He breaks down issues inot: office space, titles, respect of position, air travel, expenses, Tony Jacklin and Arnold Palmer Enterprises. Keating believes there is an overarching double standard throughout the organization. He points out the lack of definition with respect to corporate positions, as well as the lack of the value of titles such as Vice President. Keating closes by emphasizes his disappointment with his corporate position, which he believes causes a lessening of confidence and enthusiasm.
