Large molding plane. Made of a large block of wood, with a large hole cut out. A piece of metal and another block of wood fit in the hole at an upright angle. The hole narrows at the bottom of the plane. There is a handle or support underneath the metal. A small, round hole is drilled through the front of the block. The bottom side of the plane is cut in a wavy pattern. Marked "W.T. Dupee." on one side in relatively large letters. Back of block is marked "W.T.D." and "G. Woodman." Front is marked "W. Hill - Black[stone???] - Boston", with "G.Woodman" stamped over it. Something is engraved on the metal blade, but it is too rusty to make out. Used to make crown moldings outside of gable ends for the finish.
