Peggy Colucci received her captain's hat on the Institute for the Crippled and Disabled's 30th annual boat ride and 'Day in the Sun' from Georgette Lesch, 15, who was named the Institute's 'Miss Day in the Sun' as the boat ride got started aboard the SS 'Alexander Hamilton' for a day's cruise up the Hudson River on Thursday, June 18, 1959. The Institute for the Crippled and Disabled sponsors these events each year to make sure that seriously handicapped people enjoy one full summer's day of rest, relaxation and merriment.
