The Tenth Catalogue of the International Young Men’s Christian Association Training School for the academic year 1894-1895, with a prospectus for 1895-96 and the Tenth Annual Report. The Contents of the Catalogue precedes a statement titled the Object of the School, a list of important historical dates, and the academic Calendar 1895-1896. The Corporators and Trustees are listed followed by a list of Officers and committees, Instructors in the General Course, the Secretarial Department and the Physical Department, and Special Lecturers. Students are listed by department and class, Secretarial and Physical Departments, respectively. Under a section titled Equipment, is a statement about the dormitory building and its contents with photos and descriptions of buildings, offices, and facilities. The General Course outline of study follows with subsections on the Outline of Bible Study, the Study of Man, and the Young Men’s Christian Association. Sections follow titled Secretarial Course, Physical Department, and Educational Department. The remaining sections are Requirements for Admission, Rooms, Estimate of Expenses, Recitations, Practice and Examinations, Fellowships, For General Information, For Special Information, Contributions, Form of Bequest, Bequest for Endowment, and Perpetual Loan Fund. A new section is titled Students Now Engaged in Association Work preceded by a photo of the class of 1895. Two pages of advertisements precede the Report of the Trustees to the Corporation which includes a Treasurer’s report. This catalogue includes, for the first time, advertisements on the inside cover, two pages of advertisements preceding the Report of the Trustees and the last three pages of the catalogue are filled with advertisements. At the beginning of the catalogue are wonderful photos of the ‘Gymnasium Completed’ and the cornerstone laid May 10, 1895 for the new Dormitory. A picture of the class of 1895 also is presented. The symbol or emblem that includes ‘the perfect man’ and the Triangle encircled by the name of the school appears on the title page.
