Springfield College's Summer Session Catalog from 1940 includes a list of faculty and staff; general information, and introduction to visiting lecturers and professors including photographs of each, a daily schedule, and a description of all classes offered. The catalog also contains a section advertising intersession courses in recreation to be offered in September. The last page of the catalog features a photograph of the Springfield College gymnastics team entitled "Aspiration".
