Describing her testimony before the House Un-American Activities Committee and receipt of a formal notice of the related charges; enclosing a copy of a circular letter distributed with respect to her case; and hoping he can attend her hearing as an observer, not for his express endorsement, but because "the general public has the right and duty to witness and hear the teacher's side of this affair."
