Reuben along with his corsaged wife Gertrude Fox Trippensee, stand on either side of a plaque then hanging in the Holdsworth Hall Library. With a backdrop of panel and drapes, the plaque reads "REUBEN EDWIN TRIPPENSEE, PH. D. AUTHOR, PIONEER AND PROFESSOR OF WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS, 1936-1960. PLACED IN HIS HONOR BY HIS STUDENTS IN APPRECIATION OF HIS CONCERN FOR STUDENTS" In 2001 it was moved to the Main Hallway in Holdsworth.
