Women's dress
Description:
Ankle-length women's dress with elbow-length sleeves. Off-white lace trimmings on sleeves and neckline and blue background with white leaf pattern and red dots. The sleeves are trimmed by a wide border of off-white lace with two horizontal lace ruffles and a vertical lace ruffle running down the upper edge. The lace has a floral pattern. The shoulders have a slight puff shape. The v-shaped neckline is surrounded by a yolk collar with two lace ruffles, one running along the outside edge and the other running along the inside of the other ruffle. Above the bottom ruffle is a wide horizontal stripe containing three large teardrop shapes connected by leaf patterns on each side of the v. There is a lace modesty panel on the inside of the neckline with two lace ruffles. It snaps in the upper left corner. There is an opening on the left seam with seven snaps and a hook and eye closure. There is a white belt loop on each side of the waist. The belt is made of the same material as the dress and has one snap attachment and two holes on one side and one on the other. The straight waistline is pleated and has a seam that curves up the right to meet the neckline. There is decorative seaming that swoops from the right waist to the center and continues down the front center of the dress. The two seams end in pleats, which give the bottom of the dress a flare from the top of the knees. The back of the neckline has five vertical darts and continues with the two lace ruffles on the yolk collar. The bottoms of the sleeves are the same ruffled lace trimmings. The straight waist seam has two areas of pleats, which give a fullness to the upper portion of the dress. There is decorative seaming, which sweeps form the right side and continues in a panel down the center of the back. the seams end in pleats just above the knee.
