Women's two-piece halter-style sun suit made from seersucker cotton printed in large purple sunflowers with green stems. Top (A) is halter-style, with tie closures at chest and around neck. Neck opening embellished with three layers of raw-edge self-fabric ruffles. Top bust is shaped with darts at sides and is lined with white plain-weave cotton. Top is cut to fit at torso in a reverse-V shape when tied closed at back. Ribbon tag [see Inscriptions] Bloomers (B) unlined except for modesty panel set at center front, stitched into waist and at hip. Bloomers are fitted at waist and hip, decorated with 6.5" deep ruffled flounce. Leg openings elasticized. Closure at center back with button placket. Four ivory-colored plastic buttons and a fitted waistband with additional darts home-sewn to decrease waist circumference.
