High Commands meeting: final words of the Commander in Chief
Description:
Photocopy of a document included with Cornicelli's diary kept during his service as Secretary-Aide to Army Commander in Chief, General Lanusse. Summarizes and praises the work of Jefatura II, the Army's Intelligence Command. Foresees opposition from traditional politicians who pretend to create favorable conditions for holding elections; extremist minority groups who could act violently and produce chaos and instability; and fanatic groups who want to introduce policies that go against Argentine traditions. Encourages people to be optimistic and to believe that the "true revolution" is the best path.
