Formal military portrait of Willard Harrison Hasey of the Class of 1913 (Botany), who enlisted in the war in August 1917 and was assigned to Company B, 26th Infantry, 1st Division. Lt. Hasey was wounded in action at Cantigny in May 1918 and later killed in action by a highly explosive shell near Soissons on July 19, 1918. He was recommended for the French Croix de Guerre. "W.H.
