Featured are interviews with men from Plant City who were drafted: John Germany, who liberated concentration camps and went to Japan; Lonnie Davidson, who was sent to Berlin; Phillip Patrinostro, a B-17 flight engineer; D.E. Bailey, Jr., who was the first married man in Plant City to be called up; and brothers Ted and Harrison Covington, who went to Okinawa and Santo Thomas, respectively. The men discuss their experiences abroad and their eagerness to return home to Plant City.
