Holocaust survivor Rachel Aaronson discusses her experiences during the Holocaust as part of the Philip N. Backstrom Survivor Lecture Series held during Northeastern University's annual Holocaust Awareness Week. Aaronson, born at the beginning of the war in Paris, was hidden in a convent with the help of partisans, and became an orphan when both her parents were killed. She discusses moving place to place during her childhood and the emotional challenges of being a "hidden child".
