Holocaust survivor Edgar Krasa discusses his experiences during the Holocaust as part of the Philip N. Backstrom Survivor Lecture Series held during Northeastern University's annual Holocaust Awareness Week. Krasa, who grew up in Czechoslovakia, became part of a group of Jews that readied Theresienstadt for Jewish inmates and was later sent to Auschwitz. He speaks about the conditions in the camps, his experience of forced labor, and how he escaped the death march from Auschwitz. He also shows his tattoo from Auschwitz.
