Caption reads, "Handicapped celebrate Thanksgiving at ICD. 'Some day I will be able to dance, too', seems to be the opinion of 8 year old Janet Gillespie, as she viewed the line-up of dancing girls from the American Theatre Wing at the 41st Annual Thanksgiving celebration held today at the rehabilitation center's main building. Five hundred handicapped patients of the Institute and members of their families, as well as guests, were at the party. Janet, a guest, is a patient of the NYU Bellevue Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and with all those present thoroughly enjoyed the performance by the Student Hospital Unit of the American Theatre Wing, entitled "The Musical Merry-Go-Round."
