Cynthia tells Ellen that she feels oppressed by Shelley Weirs and that attempts to water down their interactions as mere differences ignores that Cynthia feels discomfort at the fact that the group she is part of chooses to ignore what she has said and feels about this other woman. At the bottom of the page Cynthia mentions that for a mental health professional to work with an ex-inmate requires recognition that she can be oppressive.
