Letter from Benjamin Smith Lyman to J. Peter Lesley
Description:
Lyman expresses condolences for the loss of the Lesley's unborn child. He outlines his travel plans for the summer, and his intent to end up in Freiburg, Germany to spend the next winter. Lyman explains a regret he is feeling over leaving Paris, on account of a separation from his close acquaintance with the Langels and the Tourganeffs. He diagrams a figure from a table sent to Mr. Lesley, with explanations of sections of the figure.
