Renaissance Revival sideboard, in the style of a 17th century cupboard, has rectangular top with molded edge and frieze with inlaid decorative motifs supported by four large twisted columns. Below columns is a chest with one tier of two drawers above two cabinet doors. Chest has turned half-columns at each front edge; molded base; and bun feet. Inlaid decorative motifs including rosettes, quatrefoils, and foliage patterrns are on drawer fronts, column bases and capitals, and chest top edge. Interior of cupboard has adjustable shelves on one side and tray drawers on the other. Title, dimensions and customer name "Hobart Ames" are handprinted in pencil. Handwritten in pencil is "detailed Feb - 18 - 1907 - JFP." Also handwritten in red is "11479."
