Title on photographers inventory read: "Funeral of RUC Inspector Jim Hazlett, who was shot dead by the PIRA in Newcastle, Co. Down. Photographs include Top Brass senior RUC officers and Sir John Hermon, then Chief Constable, Rev. Ian Paisley, Leader, DUP, and Eddie McGrady, SDLP. Shots also include police marksman on rooftop and other guards along funeral route." However it is likely that all photos are of the funeral of inspector David Ead apart from those numbered bh0100018-bh0100019.
