Springfield College Undergraduate Catalog 1961-1962. The catalog includes an academic calendar and brief descriptions of the college, its history, its educational philosophy, student life and services, residence halls, admissions requirements and process, expenses, and options for financial aid. A small number of photographs of administrators, students, and campus scenes accompany the text. It includes degree requirements, course descriptions, and a listing of administrators, faculty, and other employees in positions of responsibility, each with a brief academic biography. The catalog includes a brief description of the Community Tensions Center, established in 1957, which "offered courses, conducted research, and performed consultative services in the area of racial, ethnic, and religious relations."
