McCormack explains that Arnold Palmer did not care for Barry Furlong's manuscripts because there are a lot of erroneous facts, but also because Palmer comes out a little flippant. However, Furlong does a good job with the book in terms of volume of material and general content, and McCormack feels it could make Palmer a lot of money. McCormack notes that he suggested to Palmer that Giffin would communicate with Furlong.
