The document was written on February 20th by committee-man John Cutter. It is a notice requiring the constable of the northwest precinct of Cambridge, Francis Bowman, to notify freeholders and inhabitants of the area, who are qualified to vote, to attend a town meeting. The meeting would take place at the meetinghouse on March 5th at 1pm. The tasks required for the meeting were to elect and choose precinct officers for the following year, as well as to grant a sum of money to cover charges arising in the precinct. A response was required on or before the date for the meeting. The reverse contains a short response from Francis Bowman that he has notified the proper parties. Dated March 3rd.
