The theme of the second forum on Automobility in Chittenden County is "How Can Professionals and Citizens Work Together: The Roles of Public Officials, Experts, and Special Interest Groups in Highway Planning." The panelists are a transportation engineer, Bruce Houghton, Fred Salvucci, former Secretary of Transportation of Massachusetts, and Vincent Bolduc, a Sociologist from Saint Michaels College. Houghton discusses his experience working in the field and the ways in which the public can be involved with transportation planning and traffic engineering.
