One of the great pleasures of driving is cruising along a winding road through the wilderness. The mobility and access to all that space gives us a sense of freedom. But for many animals, roads are a dead end that can kill them or keep them from getting where they need to go. And, as KPCC's Ilsa Setziol reports, roads can lead to other ecological problems, too.
