Letty hopes that Nick's cold is better, she asks him if he has an overcoat and blanket since the barracks are not heated well. Sam Crane enlisted in the Coat Guard; Tom Whelan, Lyman Pope, and Joe Bishop have also enlisted. Nellie and Gertie went to the polls to vote for mayor, Creamer won the election. Letty went to the Red Cross with the girls. On Monday an elevator at Allen, Foster, and Bridge's dropped and the twelve girls on board were injured.
