Jacob Sullivan, 6, launches a paper airplane through hula hoops, Providence Children's Museum
Description:
From a series of images culled by Borchers for a slideshow of her work. Camera caption: "Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Jacob Sullivan, 6, Westfield, MA, made a paper airplane then sent it airborne through hula hoops that were set up for the program while his mom Kathy Sullivan and sister Teaghan (cq) Sullivan watched nearby. At the Providence Children's Museum on Tuesday, kids folded and creased paper to create whirligigs, design gliders and fashion other fabulous flying contraptions ñ and then sent them soaring as part of the program "Paper Caper" for ages 3-11. Other programs for the rest of school vacation week are listed on their website."
